I have been a resident of the Niagara Region with my family and lovable dog for most of my life.  I enjoy the unique culture and quaintness of Niagara.  After many years as a keen, amateur photographer, I decided to take my photography to the next level.  My background as an artist, floral designer and wedding consultant helped to develop my photographic style.

My photography has gone through many phases. My love of fine art, my thirst for travel in Canada and abroad keep me fascinated and motivated with photography. I have always enjoyed working with people, of varied backgrounds and cultures.

I am a graduate of Niagara College in Photography and have studied under the direction of several prominent photographers at Brock University in the Niagara Region.  Being an active member of the St. Catharines Camera Club is one my favourite interests.

Photography is telling a story. I like to capture the moment in a piece of time, a place, and an emotion. In my portrait photography, I prefer the use of natural light and natural settings.  Niagara wine region has a lot of wonderful agricultural and waterways that make beautiful backgrounds.  It’s an adventure and fun.  As a fine art photographer, I enjoy photographing architectural shapes, in contemporary/modern and historic design.  I like to work with rich vivid colours, black and white and strong, bold lines.

I believe that photography is more than just taking pictures. It is inspirational, emotional, exciting, fun, love and life!
